Alexander Tomescu joined Wewer & Lacy, LLP as an associate attorney in June 2012. Alexander received a Bachelor degree in Political Science, with a minor in Science & Technology, at the University of California, San Diego in 2003, achieving Provost Honors in 2002 and 2003. He also served as the Secretary of Sigma Nu Honor Fraternity and spent a semester in Washington, D.C., working as an intern for Congressman Christopher Cox.

Before attending law school, Alexander worked in the intellectual law field for Stout, Uxa, Buyan & Mullins in Irvine, California. He also worked as an analyst for the Recording Industry Association of America in Washington, D.C.

In 2011, Alexander earned his Juris Doctor degree from Chapman University School of Law in Orange, California. During law school, Alexander served as the Director of Operations for the Chapman Law branch of the Federalist Society. He received a CALI Award for obtaining the highest class grade in Campaign and Election Law.

Alexander’s legal experience includes administrative law, election and campaign law, non-profit and charitable organization, and intellectual property law.

In his spare time, Alexander enjoys exercising, reading, playing golf and tennis, and relaxing at the beach.
